Yoga and Meditation
As a yoga facilitator, my teaching philosophy is trauma-informed and healing-centric. I utilize yoga and meditation to guide others on their journeys. I inject my sessions with humor and compassion while incorporating embodiment theories and metaphysical practices to deepen the experience. I believe that yoga brings us into the present and into our bodies, giving us the space to feel our shadows and embrace our whole selves where we are right now on our path. Above all, I believe that yoga must be accessible, inclusive, anti-racist, and equitable; I strive to incorporate these principles within all my practices.
I am a 200-RYT certified yoga instructor. I offer a range of yoga and meditation styles. I craft my classes to promote themes of introspection, empowerment, and acceptance. Each yoga sequence is designed with intentional cueing to safely enter and release poses while explaining the deeper connections to holistic healing. I focus on gentle, somatic movements, breathwork, and meditation to provide an inclusive environment for self-discovery.
