Astrology is the language of the universe, the patterns and cycles that connect and influence our lives.  It is based on the idea that large celestial bodies affect our lives from the moment of our birth to mold aspects of our personalities and journeys.  Astrology looks for the patterns in in the sky that help us on our journey of self-discovery and understanding of the world around us.  There are different styles of astrology, just like there are different languages spoken around the world.  In western astrology, we focus on the twelve zodiac signs of Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, and Pisces, all of which are based on Greco-Roman myths.  Each of these signs has its own characteristics, traits, and correspondences, influencing the energetic expression of the planets, asteroids, and other celestial bodies in our lives and charts.  Understanding the archetypes and their influences on us is one of the primary intentions of astrology.  Astrology is malleable based on our individual goals and intentions, allowing us to explore our personality, the year ahead of us, or even potential shadows within our lives.

As an astrologist, I focus on the macro influences and patterns of the universe.  My goal is not to predict how your day will be or specific events in your life; my focus is on overarching trends in your life including how you interact with yourself and with the world.  To this end, I provide services in natal/birth, solar return, and shadow astrology charts.  A birth chart diagrams the placement of the celestial bodies at the time of your birth while solar return chart focuses on upcoming influences in your life from birthday to birthday.  A shadow astrology chart focuses on the darker aspects of a chart such as Chiron, Sedna, and other celestial bodies.  I also provide helpful astrological consultations for individualized life-coaching.
